How the New Fair Labor Standards Act Impacts EHS

On May 18, 2016, President Obama and Department of Labor Secretary Thomas Perez announced the final rule updating overtime pay regulations for many white collar workers. As a result, companies across industries are working to comply with the Dec. 1, 2016 deadline, while also bolstering their bottom line.

We predominantly work on retail gasoline service station projects, local government UST-related cases, industrial facilities (with emphasis on chlorinated compound investigations and cleanups) and terminals.

Together, the two offices provide great coverage across all of Antea Group's practices throughout the state, including strong experience with petroleum-related and industrial investigations and cleanups.

The St. Louis office provides services drawing from several of Antea Group's practice areas to the oil and gas, food and beverage, railroad, technology and insurance industries. In addition to traditional remediation and due diligence services, our team also has the technical expertise to complete energy assessments, process safety management (PSM), environmental compliance audits and compliance support that includes stormwater and bulk gasoline storage for a variety of industries.

We have a team in place to provide emergency response support for petroleum pipeline and bulk storage plant spills and overfills, both for the responsible parties and their insurance providers. We serve as their eyes and ears with respect to their emergency response contractors and their mitigation activities

The Des Moines office provides services within multiple industry segments and practice areas, though we have particular depth of experience within environmental liability management, providing support with assessment and remediation, due diligence, emergency response, and insurance claim response and oversight. Project capabilities range from small scale assessments to extensive remediation projects for oil & gas, pipeline and chemical segment clients.

Meet the Antea Group Bettendorf Office!

The Bettendorf office provides services within multiple segments and practice areas. Our projects span from traditional ELM support to due diligence and health and safety for global high tech companies.

We have particular depth of experience within the railroad segment, providing support with assessment and remediation, due diligence, emergency response, and compliance services. Additionally, primary providers of the CAVe data management and visualization team reside in our office and support projects, from small ELM to complex litigation projects across Antea Group’s global footprint. Bettendorf is also home to a core group that supports the EHS Passport solution, which aids companies as they grow and expand into new countries.

Meet the Antea Group Hartford Office!

The Hartford office works primarily in areas of environmental liability management and operational performance and assurance. Our ELM work encompasses assessment and remediation, calculating asset retirement obligations, and supporting real estate and business transactions. Our OPA work has included management of operational and compliance issues for retail stores, chemical companies, and industrial operations.
