Arby’s® restaurants across the country raised more than $4.3 million to end childhood hunger in America, surpassing last year’s record-breaking $3.7 million.
The Arby’s Foundation will partner with TEGNA Inc and Points of Light for Make A Difference Day on Saturday, October 22. Make A Difference Day is one of the largest annual single-days of service nationwide.
Childhood hunger lives in communities large and small across the country, with no regard for geographic or demographic boundaries. In an effort to raise awareness to this issue and help end childhood hunger in America, Arby’s® restaurants are teaming up with their guests to make a difference. Starting today through Oct. 9, 2016, the Brand is hosting the 2016 Arby’s Foundation National Restaurant Fundraiser, where guests can make in-restaurant donations to support the Arby’s Foundation and its mission to end childhood hunger in partnership with No Kid Hungry.
The Arby’s Foundation, the charitable arm of Arby’s dedicated to helping end childhood hunger, recently earned a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, America’s largest independent charity evaluator.
At the ninth annual Give Me Five dinner, a Share Our Strength culinary event held in Atlanta, the Arby’s Foundation received the highly-esteemed Great Oak Award for their commitment to ending childhood hunger in America.
