Foreign migrant workers are particularly vulnerable to exploitative labor practices and at risk for forced labor. In 2014, Hewlett-Packard Company was the first IT company to develop its own Foreign Migrant Worker Standard, which sets requirements for the recruitment, selection, hiring, and management of foreign migrant workers by or on behalf of suppliers doing business with us.
Improving workers’ lives is HP's ultimate objective and we strive to raise social and environmental responsibility (SER) standards across our industry by sharing the experience we gain and challenges we face along the way. Our supply chain responsibility program aims to empower workers and ensure that human rights are respected throughout our supply chain.

For some, however, this is a terrifying idea. That’s why I wanted to share some ways to enhance your word-of-mouth recruitment efforts to increase employee participation in your volunteer program!
Here are 3 reasons (and ways) to enhance your organic word-of-mouth efforts.

The show documents the life of a rather dysfunctional office and their daily antics. While as a whole, the extreme personalities of The Office, lead to an incongruous environment, there are traits from each of the characters that can be quite beneficial when applied in the workplace.
They come from Syria, Afghanistan, Eritrea, Nigeria, Gambia, Pakistan, and Iraq. Some of them fled their homeland only recently, while others applied for asylum in Germany quite some time ago.
