International Convention Center Sydney (ICC Sydney) Awarded U.S. Green Building Council Certification
AEG’s International Convention Center Sydney (ICC Sydney), Australia’s premier convention, exhibition and entertainment venue, was awarded Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). LEED is the preeminent rating system for design, construction and operation of high-performance green buildings.

AEG’s LA Galaxy, adidas, Major League Soccer and Parley for the Oceans have united today to raise awareness around the harmful impact of marine plastic pollution with the unveiling of adidas MLS Parley club jerseys. The kits—each made from technical yarns containing Parley Ocean Plastic™—will be worn by both teams Sunday, April 23, in conjunction with Protect the Pitch Day, when the LA Galaxy host Seattle Sounders FC at StubHub Center.

AEG's LA Galaxy and StubHub Center have launched an in-stadium greenhouse, chicken coop and beehives that will produce various produce and food, which will be made available at StubHub Center for athletes and staff. The launch is a part of the Protect the Pitch program, an initiative designed to help the LA Galaxy and StubHub Center reduce carbon footprint and become more sustainable.
