AEG Celebrates World Water Day with Focus on Potable Water Conservation
Last year, AEG relaunched its 2020 Environmental Goals to include a new water target to reduce potable water use at water-stressed sites by 2.3 percent per year from 2010 to 2020. Through different water conservation projects like drought-tolerant landscaping and equipment retrofits, AEG reduced its 2015 potable water use by 27 million liters of water at its water-stressed sites compared base year consumption.

Joint venture partners AEG and MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM) announced today that in 2016 the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) awarded Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design® (LEED) Gold certification to T-Mobile Arena, a 20,000-seat sports and entertainment venue that will host the NHL expansion team, Las Vegas Golden Knights.

The Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) and PPG Paints Arena were recognized today for their sustainability efforts in embracing Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) green building certifications in the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED in Motion: Venues report. Both venues are managed by AEG Facilities, a stand-alone division of AEG.
