LA Kings Team up With Coca-Cola and STAPLES Center for Earth Month Recycling Drive
Kings to restore 6,000,000 gallons of water in California & provide fans a chance to win two LA Kings playoff tickets for recycling cans and bottles at STAPLES Center before last home game
AEG’s LA Kings are partnering with Coca-Cola and STAPLES Center to restore double the amount of water used at STAPLES Center during Earth Month.
During a typical April at STAPLES Center, nearly three million gallons of water are used. With the help of Coke and STAPLES Center, the LA Kings will restore double that amount to critically dewatered ecosystems in California.
Prior to the remaining LA Kings home game at STAPLES Center, fans can enter for a chance to win two LA Kings playoff tickets by recycling aluminum cans and bottles at any entrance. For every 10 items recycled (per person), fans will be entered into a drawing to win two Kings’ playoff tickets.
Additionally, fans can make a free pledge to conserve water by texting KINGS to 474747 that will be matched with an additional 1,000 gallons of water restored to California ecosystems.
