AEG and BET Team Up to Give Back to Los Angeles Community
AEG and BET teamed up with TreePeople, an environmental non-profit organization, to provide tree care throughout Griffith Park in Los Angeles for an annual joint community service day leading up the BET Experience at L.A. LIVE and the BET Awards on Sunday, June 25 at Microsoft Theater.

AEG Hosts Arroyo Seco Weekend Youth Program
As part of AEG’s community outreach initiative with Pasadena Unified School District in conjunction with conjunction with Arroyo Seco Weekend at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif., AEG and Goldenvoice worked with more than 250 high school students in the Pasadena area to provide opportunities to learn about the entertainment industry. Students were exposed to the company’s many facets of the sports and entertainment industry, received advice on future career paths and were provided exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the music and art festival.

LA Galaxy Invest $1 Million to Enhance Girls’ Academy Training Fields at StubHub Center
AEG’s LA Galaxy announced that the club has invested $1 million to renovate Field 7 at StubHub Center, which will be used as the official training fields for AEG’s LA Galaxy Girls’ Academy.

LA Galaxy Foundation to Host 5th Annual LA Galaxy 5K and Cozmo Family Fun Run Presented by Herbalife Nutrition at StubHub Center on June 10
AEG’s LA Galaxy Foundation will host the 5th Annual LA Galaxy 5K and Cozmo Family Fun Run presented by Herbalife Nutrition at StubHub Center on Saturday, June 10. Cheering on participants will be LA Galaxy President Chris Klein and LA Galaxy players Joao Pedro Machado, Rafael Garcia, Jack McInerney, Bradley Diallo and Nathan Smith, who will also present runners with medals at the finish line.

LA Galaxy and Southern New Hampshire University Expand Relationship to Focus On Giving Back to Los Angeles Community
The LA Galaxy and Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), a private non-profit university and the exclusive education partner of the club and Major League Soccer, are expanding their relationship to focus on giving back and supporting the Los Angeles community. As a part of the expansion, SNHU is partnering with The LA Galaxy Foundation to participate in three community initiatives during the course of the 2017 season.

Los Angeles Kings Donate $150,000 to El Segundo Aquatics Center
AEG’s National Hockey League (NHL) team, the Los Angeles Kings, announced a $150,000 donation toward the completion of the highly anticipated El Segundo Aquatic Center in El Segundo, Calif. The Aquatics Center, which aims to put swim safety and swim sports to the forefront of the South Bay, is designed to be available for both the general public and members of the Wiseburn and El Segundo high schools.

LA Galaxy Foundation Announces New Five-Year Partnership with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles
AEG’s LA Galaxy Foundation has announced a new, five-year partnership with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) that will see $500,000 donated to the Sports Medicine Program in the Children’s Orthopaedic Center. Along with the new partnership, LA Galaxy President Chris Klein will serve as a member of the Children’s Orthopaedic Center (COC) Council and the team, staff, and academy will continue to make CHLA regular trips to the hospital to visit patients as part of their longstanding relationship.

AEG Hosts Arroyo Seco Weekend Job Shadow Day
AEG welcomed more than 30 students from Pasadena’s John Muir High School to its global headquarters in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday, April 26 for the first Arroyo Seco Weekend Job Shadow Day. As part of AEG’s community outreach initiative with Pasadena Unified School District in conjunction with Arroyo Seco Weekend in Pasadena, Calif. in June, students were exposed to the company’s many facets of the sports and entertainment industry and received advice on future career paths.

LA Galaxy Girls’ Academy Director Joins Mayor Eric Garcetti to Speak Out Against Sexual Violence During Denim Day
In support of Denim Day – a day of action to protest sexual violence by wearing denim clothing –AEG’s new LA Galaxy Girls’ Academy Director Kevin Hartman joined Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, Singer Aloe Blacc and other officials yesterday morning to proclaim Denim Day throughout the city with an official presentation at City Hall in Downtown Los Angeles.

LA Galaxy Provides Tree Care at Griffith Park in Celebration of Earth Day
In conjunction with Earth Day on April 22, AEG’s LA Galaxy staff and community volunteers worked alongside TreePeople, a 3-year LA Galaxy partner that inspires people in Los Angeles to take personal responsibility for the urban forest, to provide tree care throughout the Bette Davis Picnic Area at Griffith Park in Los Angeles. Staff and volunteers built water basins, pulled weeds, watered trees, spread mulch and adjusted tree stakes and ties to ensure straight tree growth.
