Planet Water Foundation, a leading non-profit organization that addresses global water poverty by delivering clean water access and hygiene education programs and Xylem (XYL), a leading global water technology company committed to developing innovative technology solutions to the world’s water challenges, have devised a unique application for Xylem’s FlowJet advanced pumping technology to provide clean water access in homes located in some of the world’s most impoverished communities.
Another one of our favorite communities of practice is the Pledge 1% initiative, pioneered by Salesforce.com. Pledge 1% is a global movement that encourages and challenges both individuals and companies to Pledge 1% of equity, profit, product, and time for their communities.
