Kevin Smith is an associate energy analyst with Glumac, A Tetra Tech Company, which provides full-service building design and commissioning. His role includes project management, energy analysis, and energy code compliance modeling. Kevin has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a double minor in Biology and Green Engineering from Virginia Tech.

This School is Serving as a Sustainable Safe Haven for 240 Girls in Ghana

Ghana's Volta region has the lowest quality education in the country, and lack of facilities means 87% of girls in primary school do not continue to secondary school. Tetra Tech partnered with Voices of African Mothers and Cornell University Sustainable Design’s Sustainable Education Ghana to give girls a safe and sustainable place to receive an education. General Motors Donates First-Generation Self-Driving Test Vehicle

Wells Fargo Innovation Incubator Announces $1 Million in Awards to Address Gaps in Cleantech Development and Commercialization

The Wells Fargo Innovation Incubator (IN2) today announced it has awarded $1 million in grants to support 13 projects that address gaps in the development and commercialization of clean energy (cleantech) and agriculture technology (agtech). All 13 projects are affiliated with IN2 Channel Partners, a network of incubators, accelerators and university programs that refer start-up companies to IN2 and are critical players in IN2’s efforts to advance a robust cleantech ecosystem.
