China is now the second largest investing country in the world, with it's outward foreign direct investment (FDI) rising 44 percent to $183 billion in 2016, according to the World Investment Report 2017 published by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. China’s latest official statistics show that by the end of 2016, around 24,400 domestic investors had established some 37,200 FDI enterprises in 190 countries and regions.

Cerro Verde, a Freeport-McMoRan company, is constructing a new school building for early childhood education. Children who live in the neighborhood of Congata, in the Uchumayo district of Arequipa, Peru, will attend the new school buildings in the fall of 2018. The new building complex for the school will include classrooms for three-year-olds, as well as a multipurpose lounge, administrative offices and a cafeteria.
Earth Day at the FCA US headquarters often brings out the “wild” in our employees, but this year, we were schooled on the ways in which we can do our part to help mitigate the effects of global climate change in our homes. As part of an on-going collaboration with FCA US, Avondale High School students were tasked with designing and building model homes with a system that used chemical reactions of plants and other autotrophs, as well as pollinators, to help reduce the effects of human activity on the environment.
In celebration of Earth Week 2018, Seattle Pacific University, the Puget Sound Food Hub and Sodexo, the university’s dining services partner, teamed up to launch its first-ever Farm to Table lunch event. The event will give students a taste of new locally-sourced menu items and an opportunity to connect directly with Seattle-area farmers to learn first-hand about the menu’s ingredients.
In 2008, Dell started using post-consumer recycled plastics sourced from water bottles and milk jugs in our products.
