Tetra Tech received the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Los Angeles District 2018 Dwight D. Eisenhower Award for Excellence, which recognizes large federal government prime contractors with effective small business subcontracting programs that create opportunities for use of small businesses partnerships. The award ceremony held in Los Angeles, California, on May 29 was the culmination of SBA’s National Small Business Week that included events across the country.

AEG’s LA Galaxy hosted its fifth annual Pride Night, one of the longest-running Pride Nights in professional sports, on Wednesday, May 30 at StubHub Center in a match presented by Spectrum SportsNet. As part of Pride Night, the LA Galaxy featured various in-game activations to celebrate the LGBTQ community of Los Angeles, including an LA Galaxy Pride Night Noisemaker giveaway upon entry to the stadium.

An ‘Activist at Heart’ from the Nonprofit World Joins Nestlé

Riham recently came to Nestlé after spending nearly five years working for a nonprofit. In her new role as an Employee Ambassador and Thought Leadership Manager, she will help Nestlé employees from across the company share their stories. Riham works with the communications team at Nestlé USA’s new Arlington, Virginia headquarters. Executive Compensation and the Investor, Worker & Stakeholder: The New Corporate Disclosures on CEO Pay Ratios Are Now Part of the Public Dialogue

There are some interesting new angles to the perennial public dialogues that go on about issues related to executive compensation. The new news is regarding the compensation packages for the Top Man (in the Fortune 500 universe, there are only 24 companies that have female CEOs) and the relationship of that sum to (1) the employees of the firm and (2) the shareholders, including key fiduciaries managing OPM (other peoples’ money). The CEO Pay Ratio disclosures of 2018 are now becoming more of a public dialogue.

Retired NFL Player, Matt Wilhelm Joins iCause Advisory Board

Matt played college football for Ohio State University where he earned All-American honors. He was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for eight seasons during the early 2000s and was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the fourth round of the 2003 NFL Draft. He also played for the San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers and was a member of the Packers' Super Bowl XLV championship team. Matt is currently a football analyst and show host for WKNR AM 850 and WEWS-TV 5 in Cleveland.

Tetra Tech Involved in the New Quebec City – Lévis Transportation Link

The Groupement mobilité inter-rives―a joint venture composed of Stantec, Tetra Tech, and Hatch―has been chosen by the Quebec Ministry of Transportation, Sustainable Mobility, and Electrification of Transport (MTMDET) to prepare an opportunity study related to the new transportation link between Quebec City and Lévis. This link aims to improve the flow of trips on the Greater Quebec City territory.
