Going Green May Be More Effective Than Swiping Right This Valentine’s Day
It’s well-known that practicing green behaviors is good for the environment, but new survey findings from Timberland reveal that it could also spark romance. With a longstanding love for the environment, the outdoor lifestyle brand today released its 2018 Eco-Love Survey results, revealing four-in-five Americans find it attractive when someone practices eco-conscious behaviors. Service Makes Good Business Sense
Not many executives can say that in their first week on the job they – literally and figuratively – pulled on their boots to help restore a vacant lot in the South Bronx into a community garden. Jim Pisani: National Service Is a National Treasure
Congress is back from its August recess and will debate budget appropriations for fiscal year 2018 in the coming months. Thankfully, both the Senate and House Appropriations committees have approved maintaining funding for the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), the federal agency that runs AmeriCorps and Senior Corps, and funds other national service programs. At Timberland, we believe strongly in the power of service, and we applaud this bipartisan support for national service.
