Yum! Brands Honored for Innovation in Enterprise Education
Yum! Brands has been named a 2014 Silver LearningElite organization by Chief Learning Officer magazine, ranking 30th out of more than 200 companies that participated in the annual benchmarking program.
Yum! University team members accepted the award on the company's behalf at a reception in Dana Point, Calif. March 30.
LearningElite was developed in collaboration with chief learning officers and learning and development practitioners. It honors organizations that use workforce development tools in ways that deliver significant business results.
Yum!'s LearningElite application highlighted examples of how the company's learning tools and programs build people capability around the world and across divisions.
During the evaluation process, peer reviewers considered the scope and value of employees' learning within each company. Then, companies were ranked based on execution, impact, size and industries served.
Yum! was also recognized by CLO magazine in 2013: Yum! University Vice President Rob Lauber was named Chief Learning Officer of the Year and the company was awarded the bronze Global Learning Award for "Taking People With You" training.
