MGM Resorts International and WaterStart Announce Collaboration to Identify Sustainable Technologies in Water, Catalyze Technology Research
LAS VEGAS, March 22, 2016 /3BL Media/ – In an effort to identify new sustainable water technologies and incorporate them into its global operations, MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM) has partnered with WaterStart.
The partnership, announced today on World Water Day, is designed to advance WaterStart’s mission to make Nevada a channel for innovation by leveraging the state’s leadership and expertise in water. Additionally, the strategic alignment will extend the reach of MGM Resorts’ long-standing commitment to environmental sustainability by establishing innovative water practices across the company’s resorts.

In coordination with MGM Resorts, WaterStart will create and maintain an innovations priority list for water-related technologies, as well as identify and evaluate the applicability of technologies for use in MGM operations. Additionally, WaterStart will leverage its local and international network to conduct research and utilize MGM operations as a test-bed for companies working to improve water resource management and sustainability.
