Legg Mason Celebrates Pride Month
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, arguably the most significant turning point in history for the LGBTQ+ Rights movement. LEAD, Legg Mason’s LGBTQ+ Employees & Allies for Diversity employee resource group, is focused on creating a safe, open, inclusive and productive work community for all employees without regard to sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. In addition to establishing and recognizing allies and offering awareness education and training, LEAD provides both financial and volunteer support to key organizations in the U.S. and U.K.
This year, LEAD celebrated Legg Mason’s achievement of a 100% score on the Human Rights Coalition’s Corporate Equality Index and showcased its efforts to encourage diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Below are four recent LEAD events related to Pride Month.
