The Habitat of Humanity: A Wild to Clinical Continuum

Since the Industrial Revolution, Western society has radically altered the natural environment. We pump carbon into the atmosphere and dump toxins into the seas. Our ancestors, however, lived much closer to the earth and were more aligned with ecological principles. Therefore, we must seek a society that honors the earth and our place upon it without letting go of technological advancements. Technologies can be shaped to align with environmentally restorative principles.
