Audio File
Born and raised in Atlanta, Derek Bottoms, vice president of associate relations and chief diversity officer, has spent more than 20 years at The Home Depot.
He began his professional career as an attorney at a law firm, and while working there, transitioned to an office attached to a Home Depot store with more than 200 associates. This is where Derek would learn the importance of our values: taking care of each other, giving back, and doing the right thing. He applies these values as he now leads the company’s diversity, equity and inclusion efforts.
