Get a Sneak Peek at P&G’s Presence at the Sustainable Brands Detroit Conference
At P&G, we have a responsibility to make the world better through our products, and through the positive impact we can have in the communities where we live and work worldwide. This week, we’ll share more about how we’re fulfilling that responsibility at Sustainable Brands (SB) Detroit, with presentations from a range of P&G leaders, a Closed Loop Home immersive experience in the Exhibit Hall, and more.
The Closed Loop Home will showcase how P&G brands like Tide purclean, Pampers Pure and the Herbal Essences beach bottle made from 25% recycled beach plastic inspire and enable responsible consumption—all in the context of the different rooms we use each day.

P&G will also offer an Innovation Lab designed to inspire participants to explore their relationship with water through the concept of 50L Home. Developed by P&G, 50L Home will bring together major companies, policymakers and communities to develop and scale innovations for the home that help solve the urban water crisis.
These top P&G leaders will give presentations related to the company’s sustainability efforts:
- Chief Brand Officer Marc Pritchard will share how P&G and its brands have taken steps to overcome the intention to action gap, including through P&G’s membership in SB’s #BrandsForGood coalition.
- Chief Sustainability Officer Virginie Helias will discuss P&G’s membership in the World Wildlife Fund (WWF)’s new platform ReSource: Plastic, offer an inside look at Loop and take attendees through P&G’s brand transformation journey.
The five billion consumers P&G touches every day can be confident that the brands they trust are using the best ingredients from science and nature, making them safe and effective, while also having a meaningful impact outside the home and helping to solve some of the world’s most complex challenges.
We have established, and continue to achieve, ambitious goals to minimize our environmental footprint, to innovate with the best of science and nature, and to create products that make responsible consumption irresistible and mainstream for households around the world.
Join us in Detroit to see how all this work is making a difference, inspiring and empowering consumers to make more responsible choices and live more sustainable lives.
