A Fun-filled Lunch for Girls of Saranalaya at KFC

The busy KFC Restaurant on Avanashi Road was closed to customers from 11 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. on Saturday as special guests were having a fun-filled lunch. The guests were 32 girls of Saranalaya Home for the Prisoners’ Children. For them, it was the first visit to such a restaurant.
“I have seen advertisements of such food. It is the first time I am getting a chance to have it,” says S. Sandhya (14), a Class IX student.
Four-year-old B. Jothi had no words to explain the experience that her friends and she were having. The visit itself was a surprise as they were not told where they were going on a Saturday morning, till they landed at KFC.
