CNH Industrial Celebrates Environment Day With Sustainable Tree-Planting Initiatives in India
This World Environment Day, CNH Industrial took initiatives to connect with nature at their production facilities in India. At their Pune Plant, trees were planted by the gardening team, in recognition of their valuable roles in keeping the areas filled with greenery and clean air.
At their New Holland Greater Noida plant, the Miyawaki Forest Project was inaugurated in the presence of Shri Chandra Prakash Goel, IFS, Director General of Forest and Climate Change, Government of India. The project aims to develop four areas of 0.3 hectares each, where over 8500 trees will be planted during the upcoming monsoon season in collaboration with other corporate groups. This will lead to the creation of small dense forest ecosystems.
Shri Chandra Prakash was joined by Narinder Mittal, CNH Industrial’s VP of Industrial Operations APAC, to plant the initial sampling and demonstrate another way that the company is working towards a more sustainable future through environmentally friendly practices.
