Celebrating the Impact of Kohler's Latino/a/x Associates: Vitor Wojastyk
Plant superintendent Vitor Wojastyk is not one to shy away from an opportunity. In his eight years at Kohler, he has worked in four different plants, two business units and two countries, all while earning a post-grad degree in industrial management and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification. Now he’s committed to creating the best workplace possible for his team.
“We’re always focused on continuous improvement in product quality, manufacturing processes and safety—but how do we continuously improve for our associates? We can be strategic and business-minded while remembering to care about our people first.”
For Vitor, creating a culture of inclusion is key to his plant’s success—on Hispanic Heritage Month and always.
“We have the privilege of working with people from diverse ethnicities and backgrounds and are committed to building an open and safe space to collaborate. We must each feel that our contributions are important and be proud to share who we are and where we come from.”
That’s how we #VivaUnidos at Kohler.
