Ask and You Shall Receive: mGive’s New Tools
By Cassie Bair
Here at mGive, we take great stock in what our clients say they wish they could do with mobile. It’s a common topic of conversation internally and a place of great debate as we determine our product activities and how to move forward. Today we are excited to announce two products that are officially available to clients, as well as let you know there are more on the way!
m2Screen
You’ve asked us how to better engage with supporters at events through mobile. We’ve found that in addition to a powerful and emotional call-to-action, an interactive visual element also increases mobile response rates. Hence, the m2Screen product was born!
m2Screen displays supporter’s responses to questions on a large screen at your event. Simply collect real-time feedback through text message and the m2Screen tool will enable you to display open-ended replies and polling charts on screen. You can also display funds collected through text message donations as you receive them through the donation thermometer. This tool is a perfect compliment to your next run, walk, ride, luncheon or conference!
Social Share
Many clients have talked with us about “wishing” for a way to show ROI through social media as well as the desire to drive a viral movement out of their mobile campaigns. So mGive once again took your feedback into consideration and launched the first product to tie SMS and social network sharing – the mGive Social Share Tool.
Social Share facilitates a Facebook timeline post or tweet through a hyperlink within a text message. Users are more likely to click a Social Share link when they complete a donation, sign a pledge, volunteer, or complete another action for your nonprofit – helping you to spread the word. With over 100 million mobile Facebook users and over 60% of users access Twitter via mobile, now is the ideal time to leverage Social Share with your next call-to-action!
