SAIC’s ESG Vision: Leading the Future of Corporate Responsibility, Sustainability, and Governance
ESG Strategy
Our ESG strategy is a rolling three-year plan informed by the company’s strategic priorities, industry best practices, evolving government rules and regulations, third-party assessments of our ESG efforts, our materiality assessment and our own internal evaluation. Our ESG strategy connects the topics of most importance to our stakeholders and business collectively, in support of our mission to deliver long-term value. Our three strategic pillars lend structure to our ESG efforts, help with goal setting and allocate resources in a thoughtful and measured way. This contributes to a sustainable and thriving business for all stakeholders.
ESG Vision
Establish SAIC as the industry leader in corporate responsibility and sustainability efforts to better our business, our customers’ endeavors and employees’ lives and the communities in which we live and operate.
ESG Mission
Deliver SAIC business and stakeholder value through ESG by pursuing new business opportunities; practicing environmental stewardship, social responsibility and workforce engagement; and managing risk with a focus on increased transparency, comprehensive performance measurement and overall accountability to ensure SAIC’s sustainable future.
Materiality
We regularly identify the environmental, social and governance topics that are of greatest importance to our business and to our stakeholders. Our stakeholders include our Board of Directors, Executive Leadership Team, customers, investors, suppliers, community partners and all levels of employees. We completed an ESG materiality assessment in early 2023, which is the basis of our current ESG strategy, including the following material areas of impact:
- Ethics and Compliance
- Cybersecurity, Data Security and Privacy
- Corporate Culture
- Employee Well-being and Talent Management
- Corporate Governance
- Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
We continue to listen and engage with our stakeholders by sharing our business strategy and priorities, obtaining direct feedback, surveying as appropriate and partnering to address specific issues and opportunities.
