Giving Back: Employee Volunteer Day 2012

Nearly 500 Scripps Networks Interactive (SNI) employees wrapped up their week by spending the day giving back to their local communities.  Every year, SNI designates an Employee Volunteer Day to give employees the option to spend the day volunteering with a non-profit cause that speaks to them.

“Many of our employees choose to give back at their child’s school, while others like to go out and work with one of our national partners,” explains Jerilyn Bliss, VP of Corporate Communications and the point person for SNI Employee Volunteer Day.  “This is a powerful way for us to give back as a company, as well as offer the chance for our employees to see and touch the important work our charitable partners are doing.”
