Scripps Networks Interactive Hosts 100 Girls of Code
On June 30th, Scripps Networks Interactive hosted some of East Tennessee’s best and brightest school-age girls as part of the Tennessee Code Academy’s 100 Girls of Code program, a series of workshops designed to raise awareness among girls ages 12-18 about careers in computer science. Featured Scripps Networks speakers at the event included Sandy Sexton, VP of Digital Ad Sales and Programming; Sharon Lewis, Director of Digital Engineering; and Sarah Herron, Site Manager for GACTV.com.
