Subaru Earns Top Marks in 2019 Corporate Equality Index
Subaru of America, Inc. today announced that for the third year running, the company has received a perfect score of 100 percent on the 2019 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), the nation’s premier benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation. Subaru joins the ranks of major U.S. businesses that also earned top scores this year.

Subaru of Indiana Automotive Foundation Awards More Than $90,000 in Grants to 12 Indiana Nonprofit Organizations
During a ceremony at Subaru of Indiana Automotive (SIA), 12 Indiana nonprofit organizations were awarded capital grants totaling more than $90,000 by the SIA Foundation. Since its establishment in 1997, the SIA Foundation has awarded more than $1.5 million to fund nonprofit projects across Indiana. Recipients at today’s event represented Dearborn, Lake, Marion, Porter, Putnam and Tippecanoe counties.

Girls Inc. of Greater Philadelphia & Southern New Jersey announced today that it has been awarded with a $95,000 grant from the Subaru of America (SOA) Foundation to be paid over three years to support Girls Inc.’s work in the Camden Promise Neighborhood.

At a recent community reception honoring his nearly 30 years of service to Subaru of Indiana Automotive (SIA), retiring top American executive Tom Easterday was presented with distinguished awards from the State of Indiana and the City of Lafayette.

"I'm equally honored and humbled by this recognition," said Easterday. "I've truly been blessed to have the opportunity to work with several outstanding individuals in serving Indiana, the greater Lafayette community and Subaru during my tenure at SIA."
