The 5th Annual ICV Conference: Catalyzing Growth in Emerging Markets
The 5th Annual International Corporate Volunteerism Conference, Catalyzing Growth in Emerging Markets, will be held on April 7 and 8, 2014 in Washington, DC. Hosted by PYXERA Global, this year's event will address the ways in which cross-sector interests converge to achieve shared value and examine how the practice of International Corporate Volunteerism, or global pro bono, is contributing to socio-economic growth in emerging and frontier markets. On Monday, April 7, the Public-Private Partnership Forum, broadcast live from Knight Studio at the Newseum, will feature a series of talk-show style conversations between CEOs, Executive Vice Presidents, senior government leaders, members of Congress, and social sector leaders. A follow-on reception will provide an opportunity for networking.
On Tuesday, April 8, a series of inspiring presentations, panels, and interactive workshops will address how corporate global engagement through volunteerism can enhance leadership and talent development, encourage frugal innovation, spur business insight, fuel hybrid and sustainable value chains, and enable holistic community development.
