The CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) in the EU reforms and significantly expands the reporting obligations of companies. It extends the reporting requirements and makes it compulsory for big to small and medium-sized enterprises based on a harmonized reporting.
To meet the stringent requirements of both certifications, the world’s leading producer and distributor of quality commercial flooring implemented unique measures to support employee health and wellness and incorporate responsible nature-inspired design. These efforts included: sourcing products that were either Red List-free with a Declare Label or had an Environmental Product Declaration and/or Health Product Declaration; integrating an indoor herb and plant garden; specifying daylight harvesting light sensors with energy-efficient LED lighting; incorporating natural daylight throughout; stocking healthy food options for employees and guests; ensuring indoor air quality and offering complimentary off-site gym memberships to showroom employees.
Safe Water Network, supported by funding from the Pentair Foundation, works with local entrepreneurs to manage filtration systems across India. These small enterprises allow low-income families access to safe water at a price which is affordable to them.
Until 2009, double-deck trailers would deliver consignments of 20 tractor cabs built at CNH Industrial’s factory in Croix, north-eastern France, to the New Holland Agriculture plant in Basildon, UK, where the manufacture of tractors is completed. Because the trailers had top decks that were fixed in place and the finished tractors were too tall to fit, they would drive back to Croix empty.

Goldcorp’s Marlin mine, Guatemala’s first large scale gold mine, closed in 2017 and has transitioned into a reclaimed and reforested area of biodiversity interest and research.
