The Chattahoochee Nature Center (CNC), a focal point to invite people to experience the natural environment and the Chattahoochee River, has launched a $9.6 million capital campaign to make the center even more welcoming.
Since 2015, 50 students have benefited from this joint scholarship between TransCanada and local communities from Mexico. The opportunity involves overcoming new challenges and barriers such as the language and weather, but every applicant has had the same goal of becoming a better professional in the energy industry.

LVCART handles any 911 call involving animals, including technical rescue or for temporary emergency sheltering. Each county-based team keeps a variety of equipment on hand to aid in their response, such as large crates, leashes, cleaning supplies, pet oxygen masks, trailers and pet emergency kits, but LVCART has never had a permanent, efficient place to store them – until now.
