Wrigley Celebrates World Oral Health Day
Wrigley is partnering with FDI World Dental Federation on World Oral Health Day to help improve oral health globally
CHICAGO, March 20, 2015 /3BL Media/ - Today, the Wrigley Oral Healthcare Program (WOHP) joins FDI World Dental Federation, its partners, dental professionals, and communities around the world to celebrate World Oral Health Day 2015 (WOHD) and its theme “Smile for Life.”
Given the important link between healthy teeth and smiles, WOHP supports the goals of World Oral Health Day all year round. For more than 25 years, WOHP has partnered with dental health professionals, helping them to improve their patients’ oral healthcare routines through one extra simple and enjoyable step - chewing sugar-free gum after eating and drinking, particularly while on-the-go.
WOHP equips dentists and hygienists with knowledge, resources and educational materials to help them integrate sugar-free gum into the oral healthcare routines of their patients, including:
- - Scientific evidence and thought leadership on the role of sugar-free gum in oral care
- - Accredited professional education for dental professionals
- - Engaging information and education materials for patients
- - Partnerships with global and national dental associations to support better oral health.
