Techstars Atlanta, in partnership with Cox Enterprises, selected 10 companies to participate in the program's 2016 class. Applications for the 10 coveted spots came from around the globe, including 69 countries and six continents.

What excites you about Techstars?

We’re excited to be surrounded by other founders from around the globe. Starting a company is hard! Getting to share best practices and gain insights from other entrepreneurs and Techstars mentors will certainly help us build a stronger company.

How did you hear about Techstars?

We are active members of the Switchyards Atlanta community. Techstars Atlanta’s Managing Director Michael Cohn stopped by an event and gave the community members an overview on the program.

What do you hope to learn/take away from Techstars Atlanta?

We’re excited about getting closer to Atlanta’s entrepreneurial community. Technology and entrepreneurship are on the upswing here, and we’re looking forward to being a part of it. On top of that, we’re hoping that Atlanta can be a place where successful consumer technology companies can be built.

How did you come up with the idea for your company?

We saw this delivery-only restaurant concept popping in San Francisco and New York. Our realization was that getting a hot, affordable and delicious dinner is such an incredible consumer experience that it should exist everywhere. We moved back home to Pat’s home state of Georgia to build the model for suburban America.

Are there any entrepreneurs or business leaders who inspire you?

Jeff Bezos. He was able to build a large company by providing convenience and affordable pricing for customers around the world.

What did you know about Atlanta before relocating for the program?

We are an Atlanta-based company!

What’s the one piece of technology or app that you can’t live without?

Amazon Prime. To me, it’s the definition of a perfect service. I love that they continue to iterate on making benefits better for their members.

Where was your company founded?

Atlanta. We’re local!
