Campaign: Safety for Life
The Central-Wan Chai Bypass aims to alleviate traffic congestion, as well as anticipated traffic growth upon its commissioning.

Intended to alleviate existing traffic congestion and accommodate anticipated traffic growth, the US$4.6-billion Central-Wan Chai Bypass project will include a 4.5-kilometer-long (2.8-mile-long), dual-three-lane trunk road and a tunnel running along the northern shore of Hong Kong Island.

Given the project’s enormous scale and complexity, AECOM’s Safety, Health & Environment team has played a key role ensuring the safety of construction workers, site employees and the general public.
