PYXERA Global Offers New Leadership Development Certificate: Leading the Sustai…
WASHINGTON, July 13, 2020 /3BL Media/ – PYXERA Global is proud to announce the offering of a new leadership development certificate program. In partnership with WholeWorks, PYXERA Global is launching, “Leading the Sustainability Transformation Professional Certificate Program (LST).” An online, team-based, global program designed to accelerate the type of leadership required to transform traditional businesses into sustainable ones. The ten-week learn-practice-apply cycle is designed for business professionals and leaders as well as leaders in both the public sector and social sector who desire to partner with businesses for truly sustainable development.
LST is the only virtual certificate program where participants learn sustainable leadership by practicing it. The program offers a unique opportunity to leaders of all levels to build competence, confidence, and most importantly credibility as participants seek to innovate and integrate sustainability into business while learning to be accountable for meeting triple bottom line goals for people, planet, and profit. The virtual ten-week program contains three parts: learn, practice, and apply. Participants learn through self-study modules that they complete at their own pace and develop a project-specific to apply to their own organization. However, the program is distinguished through the practice: a rigorous, global, team-based, multi-week simulation that allows participants to experiment with new strategies and immediately see the results.
“Reforming business to become sustainable is one of the most important tasks of our time. ‘Leading the Sustainability Transformation’ is a professional program that uses the same kind of simulation-based training techniques used by pilots, surgeons, and police to develop their skills. It’s the perfect place for business leaders who may be confused by traditional trade-off thinking, ESG (environment, social and governance), and/or CSR (corporate social responsibility) to practice, learn, and apply effective strategies to their companies,” said Stuart Hart, Ph.D., expert contributor, consultant and author of Capitalism at the Crossroads.
Notably, the program also allows participants to practice the critical skills of cross-sector collaboration, because there are specific roles for government and non-profits within the simulation, to create the most realistic ecosystem possible.
“Leading the Sustainability Transformation program is a game-changer. This program challenged my assumptions and enabled me to experience how interdependent the systems in which multinational corporations operate truly are,” said Renay Loper, Vice President of Program Innovation at PYXERA Global.
Each participant is prepared to make a lasting impact with the strategies learned. Participants develop their systems thinking skills as they untangle cause-and-effect relationships within a complex business ecosystem that extends beyond the four walls of the company to include its impact on environmental, social, and economic systems. Additionally, the program provides peer-reviewed feedback that ensures strong projects and exposure to a range of projects across industries, which are critically evaluated and strengthened by peers.
“I admire PYXERA Global and their commitment to engage and develop effective cross-sector collaborations for truly sustainable development. The attention to ecosystem is critical–how to bring in business to engage with the public and social sectors. I am delighted that they are offering the professional certification program ‘Leading the Sustainability Transformation.’ We developed this program to accelerate leaders’ understanding of what is required in public-private partnerships, and to bring it alive through this simulation,” said Hart.
PYXERA Global is currently accepting registrations for the program, which begins in September, with a second program beginning in January. For more information, please see: https://www.wholeworks-lst.com/pyxeraglobal.
