Plastics News has a great new piece about the work Triumvirate Environmental Inc is doing to recycle healthcare plastics by transforming them into plastic lumber through their subsidiary brand Best Plus.
From the article: "Virtually all medical waste is either sterilized and then buried or incinerated in the United States and Canada, [CEO John] McQuillan said. 'Both of which are fairly unhappy alternatives for this waste.'" So Triumverate found a better way.
