A new ranking places Procter & Gamble Co. among the most effectively managed companies in the nation.
The Cincinnati-based consumer goods manufacturer (NYSE: PG) tied with Microsoft Corp. at No. 6 among Fortune 500, S&P 500 and other large-cap companies on a new list created by the Drucker Institute designed to evaluate overall corporate effectiveness.
P&G received exemplary scores in 37 categories including customer satisfaction, employee engagement and development, innovation, social responsibility and financial strength.
