The renowned JNA Awards gathered some of the industry’s shining examples to a gala event in Hong Kong. Established to recognize best practices within the jewellery and gemstone community the awards focus on promoting companies who demonstrate brilliant leadership and innovative thinking.

One of those was PANDORA, where the company’s industry-leading focus on social and environmental initiatives within their two crafting facilities in Thailand were recognized. To accept the award on behalf of PANDORA, Lars R. Nielsen, VP of the crafting facility in Lamphun, attended the gala event:

“It’s always an honour to be recognised by JNA. The award means a lot to PANDORA as it serves as a benchmark for companies within the industry to aspire to and, in doing so, ensure that the industry demonstrates high quality leadership, innovation, while focusing on developing sustainably and socially responsible initiatives.”

At the forefront of PANDORA’s sustainability initiatives for the year was the launch of the LEED Gold certified crafting facility in Lamphun, located in the North of Thailand. In connection with the awards, Lars R. Nielsen explained:
“At PANDORA, we are highly dedicated to eco-friendly crafting of our high-quality jewellery and this world-class award is a great recognition of our commitment to being a sustainable business. With the recent accreditation of LEED Gold at our facility in Northern Thailand, and the successful implementation of energy conservation and waste management, we are very proud of where we are today.”
