Moody's Leader Named on the 2020 OUTstanding 100 LGBT+ Executives List

NEW YORK, January 19, 2021 /3BL Media/ – Moody’s Corporation today announced that Patrick Mispagel, MD-Sustainable Finance, Moody’s ESG Solutions was named on the 2020 OUTstanding 100 LGBT+ Executives List, supported by Yahoo! Finance. This marks the second time Mr. Mispagel has been included on this prestigious list, which recognizes successful senior LGBT+ business executives.

“I am honored to be named on the 2020 OUTstanding 100 LGBT+ Executives List,” said Patrick Mispagel. “LGBT+ discrimination is still widely prevalent, which makes visibility across such a diverse range of sectors, locations and profiles so important.”

For more than 18 years, Patrick has been helping to drive Moody’s diversity and inclusion (D&I) initiatives. He serves on Moody’s EMEA LGBTA Business Resource Group (BRG) Steering Committee and as an EMEA D&I Ambassador. Additionally, he co-founded the company’s Asia Pacific LGBTA BRG and has hosted and been featured in numerous events, including the Global AIDS Day Red Run team and an external recruitment webcast for LGBT+ professionals.

Those on the 2020 OUTstanding 100 LGBT+ Executives List were nominated by peers and colleagues, or put themselves forward. Nominations were reviewed by an OUTstanding judging panel who scored each person on the influence of their role, their impact on staff inside and outside the workplace, and their business achievements.
