Mars Belgium Rated 7th Best Place to Work in Belgium
Great Place to Work® recognizes Mars Belgium in Top Ten Employers for 7th year
BRUSSELS, BELGIUM, March 19, 2015 /3BL Media/ – Mars has been recognized this year as the seventh “Best Workplace” in Belgium by Great Place to Work®, making it the only FMCG company in the ranking. Mars Belgium has made the top ten employers list for the last seven years in the category of up to 500 employees. The Great Place to Work® Institute in Belgium recognized the strong value-driven culture inspired by the Five Principles of quality, responsibility, mutuality, efficiency and freedom.
The ranking builds on Mars’ reputation as a world leading employer after being recognized by Great Place to Work® as one of the World’s Best Multinational Workplaces in 2014. Based on the world’s largest annual study of workplace excellence, it ranked Mars 22nd in the world’s top 25 best multinationals in terms of workplace culture. The list noted the high percentage of women in management positions with 38% of management positions being held by women across Mars.
Mars as a Great Place to Work around the World
In 2014, for the fourth year in a row, Mars made the top 25 World’s Best Multinational Workplaces list. Additionally, Mars was named on Great Place to Work and other national workplace ranking lists in Australia, New Zealand, Belgium, Brazil, Central America and Caribbean, Chile, China, Denmark, Europe, France, Germany, Greece, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United States. In the UK, Mars made The Times Top 100 Graduate Employers List, climbing four places from 52nd to 48th from the previous year. In 2013, Mars was also ranked on more than 20 great workplace lists globally, including being listed 16th on Best Multinational Workplaces in Europe by Great Place to Work.
