Kenneth Cole to Receive the Global Generation Award for 30 Years of Global Activism

WHAT: Kenneth Cole will accept the Global Generation Award alongside UN Secretary General Envoy on Youth Ahmad Alhendawi, USAID Assistant Administrator Nancy Lindborg and Founder of the Afghan Institute of Learning Dr. Sakena Yacoobi at the Millennium Campus Network’s 5th Annual Conference. Previously received by John Kerry, Jeffrey Sachs and Leymah Gbowee, the award honors global leaders who champion sustainable international development.
Kenneth Cole will close the conference by addressing over 1,000 students in a Q&A moderated by Boston Globe editor Farah Stockman. The Millennium Campus Network’s Annual Conference works to inspire organizations across the nation to work more effectively and sustainably in their efforts to reduce extreme poverty and advance the United Nations’ Millennium Developmental Goals.
