According to current research, more than 17% of young children in the U.S. lack sufficient food — a rate 3 times higher than during the worst of the Great Recession. The escalating food crisis young children are facing today is alarming and calls for resourcefulness and resilience. Feed the Children is working diligently to adapt its programming and services to accommodate to current community needs due to the pandemic. By moving their Summer Food and Education Program to March so that school-aged children and their families continued to have access to nutritious food. Through our Nutrition for Zero Hunger initiative, we are proud to partner with leading organizations like Feed the Children who are working to end childhood hunger. Last year, we launched our Nutrition for Zero Hunger initiative, a comprehensive global program, focusing on critical resources and expertise to address increased access to healthy foods, community development to reduce food insecurity and nutrition education to help reduce malnutrition. In partnership with global and local nonprofit, nongovernmental, government and strategic organizations, Herbalife Nutrition is committed to find the answers to this challenge.
