Food Safety and Farmworker Experts Team Up to Expand Agricultural Training Reach
EMERYVILLE, Calif., February 26, 2018 /3BL Media/ – SCS Global Services (SCS), a leading food safety training center and third-party certification body, and AgSafe Food & Farms, a nonprofit organization providing worker health and safety education and services, are pleased to announce their new partnership. Through complementary and new joint education, training, and service offerings, the two organizations will provide even greater support for growers, packers, distributors, and farm labor contractors, addressing critical issues impacting worker safety, health, human resources, and food safety.
Both SCS and AgSafe have been providing high quality food and agricultural services in California and throughout the western hemisphere for decades.
SCS food safety training and auditing services help businesses protect their brands, reduce risk, and meet food safety requirements. Public and customized courses train professionals in programs such as:

AgSafe has been working to advance the food and farming industries' efforts to ensure a safe, sustainable workforce and food supply, by providing practical education and resources. Its “boots on the ground” approach is geared toward teaching both the “why” and “how” for protecting workers in the field, as well as in packing, processing and food manufacturing facilities.
