Cox Enterprises' #TeamCox Completes Construction on their 24th and 25th homes in Partnership with Atlanta Habitat for Humanity
On Saturday, March 11, in partnership with Atlanta Habitat for Humanity, Cox Enterprises’ #TeamCox completed construction on their 24th and 25th homes. Habitat for Humanity is a global nonprofit housing organization that operates with a vision of building stability and self-reliance for individuals and families in need of a decent and affordable home.
With the participation of more than 500 Team Cox volunteers, the group dedicated more than 4,000 volunteer hours over the course of seven weeks.
“Our team is driven by the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of the Atlanta families that will own these homes,” said Cox Enterprises Manager of Corporate Responsibility Tyrene Hodge. “Not only are we thrilled to give back to our local community, but we also have the opportunity to do it as a team and really demonstrate what it means to be a part of Team Cox.”
The Team Cox homes are built in partnership with Clark Howard, who has built 61 houses with Atlanta Habitat since 1996.
