Community Investments Bring Domtar Out of the Mill and into Local Communities
Highlights from Domtar’s 2016 Sustainability Update
It’s important to know where your paper comes from, and we urge customers to understand how their choices benefit not just our company, but entire communities.
We align our community investments with our products and business interests in three areas of focus: literacy, health and wellness, and sustainability. Corporate Community investments in 2015 benefited these key areas, plus others like the effort of the United Way. Additional local community investments made directly by Domtar’s facilities and businesses further demonstrate the support provided to areas in which we operate.
Sustainability at Domtar is our endeavor to take a longer-term view of creating and preserving shareholder value. We accomplish this by considering how we respond to and contribute to emerging opportunities and risks in the world around us.
