CBSR Launches New Brand and Announces New Board of Directors
April 10, 2013 /3BL Media/ - Today Canadian Business for Social Responsibility (now operating as CBSR) officially announces new Brand launch and welcomes a new Board of Directors.
Globally-recognized as one of the foremost organizations dedicated to influencing and advancing corporate citizenship in Canada, CBSR has amassed 18 years of experience, knowledge and credibility. The new brand represents the transformed CBSR that at its core, builds capacity for companies scaling up their sustainability efforts by leveraging CBSR’s rich history and expansive network.
After substantial analysis and discussion among the CBSR Board and our Member companies that began in 2011, CBSR has changed its mandate and business model to focus on being the premier network and key resource in Canada for companies large and small, researchers, opinion leaders and the media to advance corporate citizenship and sustainability.
CBSR WELCOMES NEW BOARD OF DIRECTORS
CBSR is pleased to begin this new chapter of our journey with a group of committed and experienced change agents. You will note the new CBSR Board is smaller than in the past and is comprised of individuals with decades of practical experience in the rapidly evolving global corporate citizenship and sustainability community.
This group has come together to lead the transformation of CBSR and bring forward new and challenging concepts to fulfill the new mandate of the organization. The Board will likely grow over time, but we are proud to present the dedicated team that has come together to build a new, relevant, and dynamic CBSR.
