Timberland Factory Strives for Excellence in Craftsmanship and Service
The Stratham, N.H. based outdoor lifestyle brand, Timberland, strives to make its products responsibly, protect the outdoors and serve its communities. All of these efforts recently converged at Timberland’s factory in the Dominican Republic (DR), where it recognized employee volunteer champions with a unique day-long celebration of service. The factory employs more than 3,000 skilled workers who pour their craftsmanship into 3.9 million shoes on average every year, and also contribute to their community through Timberland’s Path of Service™ program.

Service knows no age or boundaries at Timberland, the global outdoor lifestyle brand with a demonstrated commitment to social responsibility. Employee volunteers, who receive up to 40 paid community service hours each year, are passionate about serving elderly citizens around the world.

Timberland’s Victory Garden Enters Ninth Year of Benefitting the New Hampshire Food Bank
Outside the main entrance of Timberland’s global headquarters in Stratham, N.H., a team of volunteers recently opened the company’s community Victory Garden for its ninth year of growing fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers. The Victory Garden gives employees a chance to get outside during the workday and use their community service hours provided through Timberland’s Path of Service™ program, which gives each employee up to 40 paid hours each year to volunteer in the community.

Timberland Global Stewards Initiative Sparks Conversation at National Conference on Volunteering and Service
Last week, global outdoor lifestyle brand Timberland joined nonprofit, government, business and civic leaders from around the world at the Points of Light National Conference on Volunteering and Service. At the 2016 conference, Timberland shared how Service Unites its own employees through the company’s Global Stewards program.
