Timberland, Journeys, and the Student Conservation Association Leave Green Footprint in New York City
Since 2016, Timberland has created or restored more than 130,000 square feet of green space in U.S. cities. Beyond the fall events, past efforts transformed a vacant lot into a community garden in the Mott Haven community of the Bronx and planted much of the greenery for Philadelphia’s new Rail Park which opened the public this spring.

Timberland, Journeys, and the Student Conservation Association Take Urban Greening to Los Angeles
On the third and final stop of Timberland’s three-city 2018 urban greening tour, close to 100 volunteers transformed a vacant lot in Los Angeles into a resident-driven urban farm to benefit the local homeless population. Volunteers from Timberland, Journeys, members of the local community and the Student Conservation Association joined efforts to bring green space to this urban area.

Grassroots Social Innovations Abound Through UNH Social Venture Innovation Challenge
For the past five years, Timberland has been a proud sponsor of the University of New Hampshire’s Social Venture Innovation Challenge (SVIC), an innovative competition for students and community members to sharesustainable, business-oriented solutions to pressing social and environmental challenges. Now in its sixth year, the SVIC inspires a large and diverse group of thought leaders to develop innovative, solution-orientated thinking and provides a forum to promote their ideas. As a purpose-led brand, Timberland sponsors the SVIC to support the next generation of responsible businesses being developed right in our own back yard.

Eight employees who volunteer to serve on Timberland’s “Culture Club” planned this year’s Fall Fest celebration. The Club’s mission is to plan and execute small scale events throughout the year to bring a bit of fun into the workplace.

Timberland Remembers and Serves at Its 18th Annual 9/11 Service Event in New York
Over 50 Timberland employees and wholesale partner volunteers recently convened in New York for the brand’s 18th annual 9/11 service event. Volunteers from Timberland, Kicks USA, Macy’s, Zappos and more made physical improvements to the buildings and grounds of Greyston Foundation’s Center for Open Hiring in Yonkers, NY.

Timberland Hosts 21st Annual Serv-a-palooza With Community Service Projects Around the World
Global outdoor lifestyle brand Timberland is hosting its annual Serv-a-Palooza volunteer initiative in more than 19 countries throughout the months of September and October. Through Serv-a-palooza, Timberland employees, partners and community members come together with the common goal to meet critical needs and create sustainable impact around the globe -- from its headquarters in Stratham, New Hampshire to Milan, Hong Kong, Mexico City and beyond.

Timberland Global Leadership Team Cooks and Serves Meals to Support Local Homeless Organization
Timberland’s Global Leadership Team recently cooked and served dinner to 75 residents of Cross Roads House, non-profit organization that supports community members who are experiencing – or have recently experienced -- homelessness. The team, which had convened at the outdoor lifestyle brand’s global headquarters in Stratham NH for a strategy meeting, dedicated the afternoon to serve the local community together.

Friday, August 3rd was a big day for Timberland associates in Hong Kong as they hosted the first annual Timberland Career Day for disadvantaged youth. The global outdoor lifestyle brand partnered with Project Share, a local nonprofit organization that helps improve the social mobility of Hong Kong youth in disadvantaged and marginal areas of the city.

Timberland Supports NH Food Bank With Onsite Victory Garden
This spring, Timberland employees kicked off their 11th annual Victory Garden season at the brand’s global headquarters in Stratham, NH. Each year, dozens of employee volunteers pull on their boots and slip on their gardening gloves to plant, weed, water and harvest the many vegetables and fruits grown just outside the building’s front entrance.

VIDEO: Timberland Contributes to Kids in Need Through NBC/Universal’s Supporting Our Schools Campaign
A team of Timberland employees joined NBC10 Boston’s Matt Noyes at Hampton Beach to contribute to NBC/Universal’s Supporting Our Schools Campaign. The global outdoor lifestyle brand provided 50 Timberland backpacks filled with over 1,500 school supplies, mostly contributed by employees.
