AEG and BET Host Sixth Annual BET Experience Youth Program
Since the inception of BET Experience at L.A. LIVE in 2012, AEG, the world’s leading sports and live entertainment company and BET Networks have provided more than 300 students throughout the greater Los Angeles area with an in-depth look at the entertainment industry and behind-the-scenes access to the BET Experience at L.A. LIVE and the BET Awards through the BET Experience Youth Program.

In the days leading up to Goldenvoice’s Arroyo Seco Weekend in Pasadena, Calif., AEG welcomed more than 30 students from Pasadena Unified School District and Pasadena area high schools for the second annual Arroyo Seco Weekend Youth Program at the Rose Bowl.

AEG and BET Team Up to Mentor At-Risk Students for Annual BET Experience Service Day
AEG and BET joined forces for their annual employee service day to mentor at-risk high school students at Inner City Education Foundation’s (ICEF) View Park Prep High School on June 21, 2018. The annual service day was in conjunction with the BET Experience at L.A. LIVE and BET Awards at L.A. LIVE’s Microsoft Theater.

AEG Hosts Arroyo Seco Weekend Job Shadow Day
AEG welcomed more than 30 students from Pasadena’s John Muir High School to its global headquarters in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday, April 25 for the second Arroyo Seco Weekend Job Shadow Day. As part of AEG’s community outreach initiative with Pasadena Unified School District in conjunction with Arroyo Seco Weekend in Pasadena, Calif. in June, students were exposed to the company’s many facets of the sports and entertainment industry and received advice on future career paths.

AEG Teams up With Young Storytellers to Host the “Big Show” at L.A. LIVE’s GRAMMY Museum
AEG, the world’s leading sports and live entertainment company in the world, and Young Storytellers, a nonprofit organization that develops creative learning behaviors through the art of storytelling, recently teamed up to mentor a group of students from Hollenbeck Middle School in Boyle Heights, Calif. through Young Storytellers Script-to-Stage program.

LA Galaxy Visit Children’s Hospital Los Angeles
AEG’s LA Galaxy took time last week to visit Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in continuation of the team’s longstanding relationship with CHLA and in support of Make March Matter.

On Thursday, March 15 nine players including Ashley Cole, Giovani dos Santos, Sebastian Lletget, Rolf Feltscher, Emmanuel Boateng, Jorgen Skjelvik, Daniel Steres, Chris Pontius, Brian Sylvestre and Tomas Hilliard-Arse spent the afternoon at CHLA, along with LA Galaxy Mascot, visiting outpatients and their families in their rooms.

LA Galaxy Host Annual Read Across America Day Celebration at StubHub Center
Yesterday, AEG’s LA Galaxy, StubHub Center and the LA Chargers hosted more than 250 second and third grade students from Towne Avenue Elementary School and Leapwood Avenue Elementary School at StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. for Read Across America Day in celebration of Dr. Seuss’ 114th birthday.

LA Galaxy Donates $10,000 to United Way of Santa Barbara County in Support of Thomas Fire & Flood Fund
AEG’s LA Galaxy recently donated $10,000 to United Way of Santa Barbara County in support of the Thomas Fire & Flood Fund following the severe aftermath of the wildfires and flooding that affected the Santa Barbara area in December 2017.

LA Galaxy Partners With Playworks Southern California to Beautify Local Community Preparatory Academy; kicks Off “Galaxy Giving” Initiative
AEG’s LA Galaxy and LA Galaxy Foundation kicked off its “Galaxy Giving” initiative with a visit to the local Community Preparatory Academy in Carson, Calif. for a Playworks Beautification Project on Wednesday, Feb. 7. Throughout the day, LA Galaxy staff and LA Galaxy President Chris Klein worked to transform and improve the campus’ play space.
