AECOM's Safety Culture Pays off at Abu Dhabi International Airport
The Midfield Terminal Building (TCA) at Abu Dhabi International Airport, for which AECOM is providing construction management services, has achieved more than 50 million work hours without a lost-time injury.
The contractor for the MTB is TCA-JV (a TAV-CCC-Arabtec joint venture) and there are more than 16,000 workers currently onsite. The MTB is the largest contract within the Midfield Terminal Complex, which will be the centerpiece of the airport’s future growth in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

AECOM is providing construction management, construction supervision, cost management and contract management services to the Abu Dhabi Airports Company on the US$3-billion project.
