ACCP: The Conference 2016 Announced
This is the flagship event for corporate responsibility executives to share ideas, insights and inspirations.
ORLANDO, Fla., July 24, 2015 /3BL Media/ – ACCP announced that ACCP: The Conference 2016 will convene corporate responsibility executives in San Diego on March 20 – 23, 2016. This annual meeting will bring corporate responsibility executives together for what is referred to as the premier conference in the U.S. for professionals in corporate citizenship, corporate social responsibility, community relations, and volunteerism.
The Power of And will be the theme for ACCP: The Conference 2016. Recognizing that companies are seeking and finding new ways to improve society and with that, discovering ways to prosper, The Conference will focus on empowering corporate responsibility executives to develop their roles within their organizations and demonstrate the ROI they bring to their companies.
“There is a need for corporate responsibility executives to understand and be able to effectively articulate how the important work they do positively impacts society and their companies,” said Mark W. Shamley, President and CEO of ACCP. “The goal for The Conference is to have our attendees come away energized, enlightened and enthused to continue their work to improve society and help their companies prosper.”
ACCP: The Conference is only open to those employed in a corporate responsibility capacity to ensure that participants can have candid conversations among peers. Over the course of 3 ½ days, these executives will have the opportunity to learn from industry luminaries and renowned speakers as they network with hundreds of corporate responsibility professionals.
“ACCP: The Conference is an annual must-attend for me and my team,” said Debra Benton, Director of Community Outreach for Southwest Airlines. “In addition to offering insightful, relevant and applicable content, The Conference connects me to my peers. Though The Conference has grown in size over the years, the event has maintained the feeling of an intimate gathering, a family reunion almost, where we can all openly share what has and hasn’t worked so we can learn from one another and continue to increase our collective positive impact on society.”
Executives from more than 35 companies have already registered. Space is very limited. You can learn more about ACCP: The Conference 2016 at: http://www.accprof.org/events/conference/
