Have you noticed if you change the way you look at something, everything about it changes? It becomes interesting again. Your approach to it is refreshed and energized. Take for instance daily routines. They are actions we take by habit, unconsciously going about our day. Another approach would be to transform boring, daily routines with spark, sizzle, fun, and excitement! How so? Living green or approaching our routines with a different mindset can offer a thrilling adventure that does just that.
Monday, the first day of the workweek and affectionately known on twitter as #ecomonday is a great way to start your week with environmental consciousness. It can also be a way to create a new eco habit.
Start your week with green ambition! Here are 10 tips to get you started in living a sustainable lifestyle:
1. Organics: visit your local farmer's market for organic fruits and veggies and use organic personal care and clothing from natural fibers.
2. Recycling: recycle everything! Paper, materials, home items, and more!
3. Energy efficiency: purchase energy efficient appliances. Buy and use renewable or wind energy and monitor your use of energy.
4. Water: get to know what is in your water and use it efficiently.
